Ohio State saved by arrant throw by Maryland’s Tyrrell Pigrome

In overtime after leading the Maryland Terrapins down for a touchdown in two plays they decided to go for two points. What did the 5-5 Terrapins have to lose? Nothing, they called a play where quarterback Tyrrell Pigrome rolled out to his right for what seemed like a run/pass option and his receiver broke free right in front of him, but when he delivered the ball he air mailed it securing the Ohio State Buckeyes win 52-51.

Check the play out below.

Maryland did want they wanted on the Ohio State all afternoon mainly running as they only had 14 pass attempts. Maryland had over 500 total yards. The play of Dwayne Haskins and J.K. Dobbins matched Maryland otherwise it might not have even came down to a missed throw by Pigrome. It also looked like Urban Meyer lost 10 years of life on the sideline.
