Senior defensive tackle Cortez Broughton accepted his invitation to play in the East/West Shrine game. A lot of the best seniors will be at this game and get to work with current and former NFL coaches. The main thing is a lot of NFL scouts will be around so it will be a great opportunity to raise his draft stock.
Broughton had 43 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, five pass breakups, four quarterback hurries and a forced fumble.
