PG Logan Johnson enters transfer portal

The Cincinnati Bearcats have had Rashawn Fredericks and Nysier Brooks transfer to UAB and Miami respectively, Jarron Cumberland enter the NBA Draft (he still can return by May 29th) and Samari Curtis reopen his commitment to the program. You expect turnover when your head coach leaves for another program. Today it was made official that freshman point guard Logan Johnson has entered the transfer portal.

The 6’2″ hyper athletic guard didn’t have jaw dropping stats in limited playing time last season, but if you watched him play you saw big time potential with a development of a consistent jump shot. He averaged 2.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and .7 assists per game. The Mountain View, CA native was in line to be the starting point guard in the 2019-20 season. It will be interesting to see where he lands.
