L’Christian Smith has transferred from Ohio State to Cincinnati. The trek down I-71 South is complete and if he can be made eligible immediately, he will have a strong chance at starting soon as he steps foot on campus. The former 4 star recruit from Dayton, Ohio chose Cincinnati over Kentucky and makes the second Ohio State receiver who has transferred to Cincinnati in the offseason (Garyn Prater). Smith stands 6’6” and is rumored to weight around 220 pounds. He will give quarterback Desmond Ridder a nice weapon on the outside.
He was a two sport start at Wayne High School and with the way people have been transferring out of the basketball program Coach Brannen might want to holla’ at Blue to see if he still wants to hoop. Just a thought!
