Yes, detractors will look at the OSU game and say well then why did they give up 42 to the Buckeyes? Well to put it simply because OSU looks to be one of the best teams in school history and 42 is the second lowest point total they’ve been held to all season. Even with that 42 point outlier in Columbus, the Bearcats are only giving up an average of 20.4 points per game, and they were the only team in 32 games to hold the UCF Knights under 30 points, snapping the longest such streak in the history of the poll-era.
