Joel Dublanko, senior
Dublanko had 34 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.0 sacks last season. He played in all 14 games, but didn’t get a start. He will get the first crack at replacing Wright at middle linebacker. Dublanko looks the part of a big physical linebacker that can meet the ball carrier at the point of attack. I think a platoon of Dublanko and Wilson Huber will be the formula at middle linebacker this season, but nonetheless the senior will get a chance to have a breakout final season.
