Atlanta Falcons QB Desmond Ridder is switching from No. 4 to No. 9

Today, it was announced that Atlanta Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder is switching from No. 4 to No. 9. The third round pick of the 2022 draft played his rookie season as No. 4, but those that have followed him at the University of Cincinnati know him as No. 9. If he can bring some of that Cincy magic to Atlanta they will really be cooking.

Last month, Ridder was named the starting quarterback after finishing the last four games as the starter and leading the Falcons to a 2-2 record in that stint. He threw for 708 yards, two touchdowns (zero interceptions) on 63.5%.
