Tre Tucker gets selected 100th overall in the NFL Draft by Las Vegas Raiders

This evening, wide receiver Tre Tucker was the first Bearcat to hear his name called for the NFL Draft. Tucker, a 5’9″ slot receiver, with 4.3 speed was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders with the 100th overall pick in the 3rd round of this year’s NFL Draft. The young man has shown his versatility in many ways during his playing career, whether it’s on offense or special teams.

Tucker wrapped up his Bearcat career hauling in 112 receptions for 1433 yards and eight touchdowns during his 4-year career. However, Tucker had his best season of them all in 2022 where he recorded 52 receptions for 672 yards and three touchdowns where he averaged nearly 13 yards per catch. Tucker, was also one of the most dangerous kick returners in all of college football over the last few years and Bearcats fans got a great glimpse of it during his junior season, where he returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown vs Indiana.
