2012 Week 7: NFL Games of the Week

The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks start off a great week for NFL matchups. This week like the weeks before will feature many marquee match-ups.  We hope you enjoy our selections. Please feel free to express your opinion about our choices for games of the week.

Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers, 8:30pm ET

The 49ers are coming off of a tough lost against the New York Giants, and Seattle Seahawks are coming off a comeback victory against the New England Patriots.  The 49ers are an angry team right now looking to take advantage of a team that is on an emotional high as of now. Both teams pride themselves off toughness so it will be an interesting matchup. I think Frank Gore will have a big day which will result into a 49ers victory.

Note: The 9ers won 13-6 in a physical game.

Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans, 1:00pm ET

Both teams are hurting in the injury department on the defensive side of the ball. The Texans will miss Brian Cushing against Ray Rice & Co. , and the Ravens will not be the same without Ray Lewis and LaDarius Webb. This matchup may have been the preview to the AFC Championship, but with injuries piling up it’s hard to say. I feel that the Texans will bounce back and come out with a victory. Andre Johnson has been due for a big game, and  he will likely do just so with the Ravens best cornerback out in this contest.

New York Jets @ New England Patriots, 1:00pm ET

The Jets and Pats games are always drama filled. Whether its bulletin board material from Rex Ryan or Wes Welker talking about Rex Ryan’s foot fetish these two teams absolutely hate each other. The Pats are a pissed off team, and will look to dominate the Jets. The Jets did win last week, but Sanchez thrown for a measly 82 yards. The Jets did look inspired last week, but they were playing the Indianapolis Colts. There will be too much Brady for the Jets and the Pats will win convincingly against the J-E-T-S.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals, 8:20pm ET, (Sunday Night Football)

Both teams are coming off of ugly losses against unworthy opponents. The Steelers are fighting health issues as always, and the Bengals are having trouble running the ball. The Bengals don’t have many weapons on offense, but I think everyone could say A.J. Green has been the best wideout in the NFL so far this season. Ben Roethlisberger is normally money when he returns back to his native state of Ohio. So that means I am going with a  Steelers win in typical Steeler fashion.
