Several weeks ago there were headlines made about a 12 year old by the name of Grant Reed who was battling a brain tumor. Reed who is a huge Ohio State Football fan decided to name his tumor “Michigan” in order to defeat his cancer.
The Wolverines Head Coach Brady Hoke reached out to the young buckeye fan, and surprised him with four tickets to this year’s OSU-Michigan game in Ann Arbor. (Article can be seen at http://www.elevenwarriors.com/2013/07/23872/brady-hoke-good-human)
Being the diehard Buckeye fan that I am it is rare to give “The School Up North” kudos, but in this case this was pretty dope.
