It was great to see Adam Silver honor Isaiah Austin during the NBA Draft. If you don’t know, Austin was a prospect in this year’s draft and his career was ended after being diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Marfans Syndrome. Austin no longer play basketball, but he was able to hear his name called on draft night. This was a great gesture by the NBA, and hats off to Adam Silver for making Austin’s dream of hearing his name called still come true.
