The Miami Hurricanes had seven seconds to do the impossible, and they did just that. The Hurricanes completed eight laterals on a kickoff return to defeat the Duke Blue Devils in dramatic fashion. I’m sure the kickoff heard around the world brought a smile to Ed Reed, Michael Irvin, Edgerrin James, Jim Kelly, and hell even Luke Campbell. As the replay shows, there were a few questionable moments, but the referees did not overturn the touchdown after reviewing it.
