Three reasons we don’t want a Golovkin/Alvarez trilogy

1. GGG has to knock Canelo out to win

In a summary of the first two reasons this reason is the most important reason it wouldn’t be wise to have a trilogy and it is mainly in the perspective of GGG he has to knockout Canelo to win. I personally don’t even think a knockdown would be enough to beat Canelo because of his cash cow status. GGG is 36 years of age and if they fought again he will 37 years of age. He didn’t show signs of aging Canelo is just younger and has a hell of a chin. During the fight GGG dazed Canelo a few times, but couldn’t finish the job in the first two fights it would be even tougher to do that in a trilogy. So, GGG is fighting an uphill battle he is fighting Canelo and the judges and he gets a KO.
