The Saints acquire the other Eli from the Giants

The New Orleans Saints needed help in the secondary so on Tuesday they trade for former 1st round pick Eli Apple. The former Ohio State standout has had an up and down career with the Giants having a good first year, a bad second year and a good third year. The Saints get a player still on his rookie deal, so they will have a few years to gauge the young asset.

New York Giants get:

4th round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft

7th round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft

New Orleans Saints get:

CB Eli Apple

Apple will join a roster full Ohio State alum and will be paired with Marshon Lattimore.

Thoughts on this deal!
