Falcons trade QB Desmond Ridder to the Cardinals for WR Rondale Moore

Today, the Atlanta Falcons traded quarterback Desmond Ridder to the Arizona Cardinals for wide receiver Rondale Moore. Ridder started last year for the Falcons and was made expendable once they signed Kirk Cousins to a four year/ $180 million deal.

The third year quarterback threw for 2,836 yards, 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions on 64.2%. He also rushed for 193 yards and five touchdowns.

Moore had 40 catches for 352 yards and a touchdown in 2023. The Falcons add another weapon and the Cardinals add insurance for Kyler Murray.

TFON wishes Desmond nothing but the best of luck in Arizona.
