Senior shooting guard Sean Kilpatrick was selected to the AP (associated press) All-American first-team. He is the first Bearcat since Steve Logan (2002) to make first-team All-American.

Kilpatrick averaged 20.6 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 2.5 apg during his senior season while leading the Bearcats to a 27-7 record.

Let’s check out who all made first-team All-American:

Sean Kilpatrick, G, Cincinnati
Russ Smith, G, Louisville
Shabazz Napier, G, Connecticut
Doug McDermott, F, Creighton
Jabari Parker, F, Duke

Three American Athletic Conference guys made first-team, that’s pretty sweet.

Jabari Parker was the only underclassmen(freshman) to make the team.

This team shows it pays to stay in school, right?

Shout out to SK on a great college career and bringing home top honors.
