Dynasty in Durham?

The Duke Blue Devils won their second straight NCAA men’s Lacrosse championship yesterday over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish with a score of 11-9.  The Blue Devils have played in each of the last eight final fours and made it to the championship game four times under coach John Danowski.  They also beat Notre Dame in 2010 to win their first title and continue to end the title less Irish season in 1369688607000-AP-NCAA-Syracuse-Duke-Lacrosse-1305271705_4_3.

The game appeared to be on the verge of a route with dukes defense holding the Irish scoreless in the 1st half.  The Irish mounted an exciting and applause worthy comeback before Duke squeezed out the victory.  The “Cameron Crazies” now have another sport to show support and get wild.  Pray for us lol.
