Taking a look at the Bearcats Week 5 performances in the NFL

For Week 5 a ton of Bearcats made an impact for NFL teams let’s take a look at them and how they can build upon their Week 6 matchups.

Travis Kelce, tight end, Kansas City Chiefs

On Monday Night football, Travis Kelce had a field day against the Las Vegas Raiders. Travis Kelce had seven catches for 25 yards and four touchdowns in the win against the Raiders. This was a career-high for Kelce and he became just the 4th tight end in NFL history to score four receiving touchdowns in a game. This week, Kelce and the Chiefs will go up against Josh Allen and the Bills on Sunday.

Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner, cornerbackNew York Jets

Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner was everywhere for the Jets in the win over the Dolphins. Gardner picked up his first career Interception and was able to force a safety coming off a corner blitz. Gardner also had five tackles and a pass deflection in the win. This week, Gardner will get to go up against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Coby Bryant, cornerbackSeattle Seahawks

Coby Bryant continued his solid play on Sunday against the Saints. Bryant picked up another forced fumble and had two tackles in the loss. This week, Bryant and the Seahawks will go up against Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Alec Pierce, wide receiverIndianapolis Colts

Alec Pierce and the Colts had the early slate on the Week 5 games. Pierce and the Colts had to take on a tough Broncos team on the road. Pierce shined in the win picking up eight catches for 81 yards in the overtime win. Pierce led the Colts in receiving and will look to continue his momentum into Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Marquise Copeland, defensive tackle, Los Angeles Rams

Marquise Copeland has played a lot of special teams the last couple of weeks, but was able to make an impact in the loss to the Cowboys. Copeland picked up five tackles and a tackle for loss in Week 5. This week Copeland and the Rams will face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Mike Boone, running backDenver Broncos

Mike Boone was given more opportunities this week following some injuries to the Broncos backfield. Boone ran the ball seven times for 38 yards and had three catches for 47 yards in the loss to the Colts. This week, Boone and the Broncos will take on Justin Herbert and the Chargers on Monday Night Football.
