2012 Week 8: NFL Games of the Week

The Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicked off our football week in great fashion. This week like the weeks before will feature many marquee match-ups.  We hope you enjoy our selections. Please feel free to express your opinion about our choices for games of the week.

Atlanta Falcons @ Philadelphia Eagles, 1:00pm, ET

Michael Vick is playing against his former team, and Matty Ice is returning back to Pennsylvania, so there will be pressure on both sides. The Falcons are undefeated, and are due for a loss. The Eagles are desperate, and Andy Reid’s teams are 7-0 coming off bye weeks. I think Michael Vick has a breakout game that will quiet the haters for at least a week.

New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys, 4:25pm, ET

The Cowboys had a hard-fought win in Carolina last week, but they will be facing a Giants team that is very hot. Eli Manning is 3-0 in Cowboy Stadium and will look to continue the trend. You never know which Tony Romo will show up so it will be hard to side with the Cowboys in this game. Giants in a close one.

New Orleans Saints @ Denver Broncos, 8:20pm ET, (Sunday Night Football)

The Saints have won their past few games, but the defense are giving up points at an alarming rate. Peyton Manning has found his groove with his new weapons and will look to attack a weak Saints defense. This game will be exciting to watch with two high-octane offenses taking the field. I think that the Saints will fall just short against the Broncos. A primetime game in the Mile High City it will be hard to go against the home team.
